Hi Dave,
How are you?  We miss talking to you.  I am writing to give you a big thank you for all you did over the past three years. Both Vic and I really appreciate all your advice and guidance.  We both knew we could always count on you to give honest and sound judgement.  You have a wealth of experience but even more important you care about people.  Of that, there was no doubt.   
We both feel a great sense of relief.  I also feel a sense of loss too though.  That is only to be expected.   I always felt a great sense of pride and satisfaction in our business and how Vic made it look.  I was the silent partner in the process and Vic was the one who made it all happen.  The one who took care of customers, employees, paid the bills, fixed broken pipes, grew the plants and the vegetables, etc, etc.  And he did it with kindness and generosity of spirit.  And with such patience!   I was able to reap the benefits without the physical input.  We made decisions together and worried together but most of the down and dirty and grittiness of it was on Vic.  I am grateful for the experience of it all.  It has changed my life and it is all good.  It will be interesting to see what the coming months bring.
